Partnership and Sponsorship Framework
Dreaming Big Together
The Education Trust of Alaska empowers families to plan and save for future education expenses through its three 529 programs. To bring these resources to more families, we invest in strategic sponsorships and scholarships that spark a lifelong love of learning and expand access to postsecondary education. These initiatives strengthen financial readiness and cultivate statewide awareness of available resources, creating opportunities that support families as they prepare the next generation of learners.
Education and Community Initiatives
We believe in a strategic approach to supporting Alaska’s future. Our outreach and funding efforts are concentrated in three primary areas:
-
Sponsorships: We partner with community and state organizations that align with our mission.
-
Scholarships: The Trust sponsors numerous scholarships for Alaska’s youth to encourage access to and attainment of higher education goals and to support and reward excellence.
-
Incentive Programs: We fund our own initiatives, such as the Dash to Save®, Dash to Save More®, and the Account Momentum Program, which provide incentive contributions to help families accelerate their education savings.
How We Evaluate Opportunities
To ensure our resources are used effectively, the ETA outreach team continuously reviews both existing and new partnership opportunities. Our evaluation is guided by a strategic framework that prioritizes:
-
Mission Alignment: We prioritize initiatives that directly support our mission of encouraging education savings and fostering a culture of postsecondary planning.
-
Targeted Engagement: We seek opportunities that actively engage families and students as they prepare for their future education and career milestones.
-
Community-Wide Impact: We favor initiatives that offer long-term value and benefit a broad audience. Our focus is on supporting organizations and programs with wide-reaching community impact rather than those focused on single individuals.
